Cookie and Browser Storage Policy for Channel Plans

Compare temporary and persistent storage

Separate architectural spaces representing temporary and persistent data handling

Current position: no site-set cookies

This DiscordChannelNameGenerator.online cookie policy is effective August 29, 2026. Site code does not set first-party cookies, install advertising or behavioral analytics tags, or store themes, channel seeds, candidates, trees, favorites, or history in localStorage, IndexedDB, or another persistent browser database.

There is no login session, account preference, subscription, payment state, or saved planner. The absence of site-set cookies does not mean that loading a website creates no technical data. Temporary JavaScript memory, the system clipboard, browser cache, network request records, and voluntary email are different mechanisms.

Temporary planning state

When you choose a purpose, theme, separator, or layout model, those selections live in the active page’s memory. They allow the interface to render candidates, show validation, and support Reset. The intended tool does not write them to persistent storage or send them to a naming endpoint.

Reset clears the visible controls, results, errors, selection, and copy message. Reloading or closing the page ends the current state. A second tab has separate working memory. Because there is no preference cookie, revisiting a page should restore its documented defaults rather than silently recover a previous private plan.

The Copy control is not a cookie. It asks the browser to place selected text on the clipboard after you press it. An operating system or clipboard manager may retain a history under its own settings. Avoid copying confidential names or staff structures.

Browser cache and the limits of “no cookies”

Browsers may cache public files such as the hero image, favicon, fonts, styles, and scripts to improve loading. A cache is not a cookie, and the application does not put user-entered channel text into cached asset files. Browser controls can clear caches and site data.

Opening the site also creates standard network requests to the planned Vercel hosting infrastructure and intermediaries. They may process IP address, time, path, user-agent, referrer, and security or diagnostic metadata. Those server-side records are explained in the Privacy Policy and provider notices. Clearing cookies does not erase provider records.

Optional services can change browser behavior. Adding analytics, a consent platform, support widget, embedded media, account system, remote generator, or security product could introduce new storage or requests. None is part of the current service described here. DiscordChannelNameGenerator.online checks the current site in a clean browser profile and records relevant cookies, storage, scripts, response headers, and network requests.

Worked example: a layout disappears

Omar opens the community-layout generator, selects a hobby-club model, and produces a category tree. He leaves the page without copying it. When he returns later, the tree is gone. That is expected because the site does not save history or favorites.

Omar generates again with the same normalized inputs and receives the same deterministic order. He presses Copy and pastes the text into his own planning document. The clipboard and document are now outside the site’s storage model. If his operating system keeps clipboard history, Reset on this page does not remove it.

Static images and scripts may remain in browser cache, and the page request may appear in host operational records. Neither mechanism is intended to contain the local tree text. DiscordChannelNameGenerator.online checks the current service and updates this statement if that data path changes.

External destinations

Official-source links lead to Discord or another clearly identified provider. After you follow a link, that destination may use cookies or storage under its own policy and choices. This page does not claim control over an external site.

The current service does not include third-party videos, social widgets, advertising pixels, embedded chat, or cross-site tracking. Before enabling a later feature, DiscordChannelNameGenerator.online will assess its technical, privacy, and legal effects and update the relevant choices and disclosures.

When the policy must change

DiscordChannelNameGenerator.online will revise this page before enabling non-essential cookies, persistent preferences, accounts, analytics, remote processing, or a saved layout library. The revision will identify purpose, provider, category, duration, and user choice. Where applicable law requires consent, non-essential processing will not start before valid consent.

An updated effective date must reflect a real practice review. The public service must never display “no cookies” while inspection shows site-set storage or unreviewed third-party code.

The current application code has no cookies or non-essential tracking. A banner offering choices about nonexistent cookies would be misleading. DiscordChannelNameGenerator.online periodically checks that premise against browser storage and network behavior.

Why are favorites not saved?

Persistent history is not part of the local tool. Copy a reviewed plan to storage you control.

Does Reset clear hosting logs?

No. Reset affects current page state only. Hosting records and email are managed separately.

How do I report unexpected storage?

Email support@discordchannelnamegenerator.online with the route, browser, cookie or storage key, and steps. Do not include account secrets or a private channel tree.

Verify the real behavior

Use Compare temporary and persistent storage to understand the boundaries. You can inspect the current site with browser developer tools in a clean profile; if its cookies, storage, or requests differ from this policy, send support the route and a non-sensitive reproduction.
